Various closures for sign replacement work on I-670 in Jackson County, TONIGHT

JACKSON COUNTY – The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct various overnight traffic modifications on I-670 for sign replacement work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

TONIGHT, Aug. 20 at 8 p.m. until Aug. 21 at 6 a.m.

  • Lane closure on the I-670 EB exit ramp to Genessee St.
  • Right exit lane closure on the ramp from Genessee St SB to the north I-670 WB on ramp.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris form the roadway.
