Overnight I-90 detours planned Aug. 24-25 for Highway 218 south bridge deck work in Austin (Aug. 20, 2026)

AUSTIN, Minn. – Interstate 90 motorists will have overnight detours Monday, Aug. 24 and Tuesday, Aug. 25 while bridge deck work occurs on the Highway 218 south/21st Street NE bridge in Austin near Austin Municipal Airport, according to the Minnesota Department of Transportation.

Eastbound and westbound I-90 traffic will be routed up and down the traffic ramps at the Highway 218 south/21st Street NE bridge from 8 p.m., Aug. 24 to 6 a.m., Aug. 25 and 8 p.m., Aug. 25 to 6 a.m., Aug. 26.
